Marine Sales Project Manager – Tampa, FL $1,000 Sign on Bonus
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Marine Sales Project Manager to join our client's team. This role is crucial for driving sales of marine engines, with a specialty in MTU engines, while providing technical guidance and support to our client's customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Sales Growth: Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer accounts to maximize marine engine sales.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build strong, long-term relationships with marine dealerships, boat owners, and commercial clients.
- Technical Expertise: Provide accurate guidance and technical support regarding MTU marine engines and systems.
- Solution-Based Selling: Understand customer needs and recommend the best engine solutions.
- Sales Planning & Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts, set objectives, and track performance metrics.
- Market Development: Research trends, competitor activity, and potential growth opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the service team and management to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Trade Shows & Events: Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Must be a current resident of the United States.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- 3–7 years of sales experience, preferably in marine engines or related technical products.
- Experience with MTU engines or marine diesel engines strongly preferred.
- Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
