Meet Steve Levy

With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the diesel industry, Steve Levy has built a career rooted in technical excellence, strong leadership, and a deep commitment to service—both to his country and the diesel community.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Steve developed a strong foundation in discipline, teamwork, and precision—values that have remained central throughout his professional life. His journey through the diesel world spans nearly every role imaginable—from rebuilding engines and servicing over-the-road trucks to leading large-scale service operations across multiple states.

Steve has served as Service Manager at two Freightliner dealerships—one in Florida and another in Iowa—where he led high-performing teams and consistently improved shop efficiency and customer satisfaction. He also held the role of Service Operations Manager for a major forklift distributor in Arizona, overseeing six branches across Arizona, California, and Nevada.

As Product Support Manager for a distributor of Link-Belt cranes, Bobcat, and Kubota equipment based in Iowa, Steve directed operations across five branch locations serving both Iowa and Nebraska. Later, as Regional Operations Manager for a leading diesel engine distributor, he managed parts and service operations across 12 locations throughout the Midwest, including Ohio, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, and Kentucky—streamlining performance and boosting customer satisfaction throughout the region.

Most recently, Steve served as Director of Service Operations for a large diesel engine distributor in Florida, overseeing 11 locations in key markets such as Jacksonville, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Fort Myers, and Cape Canaveral.

Beyond corporate leadership, Steve is also a successful entrepreneur. He has launched and operated two businesses in the diesel sector, combining industry knowledge with entrepreneurial vision. He founded American Diesel Outfitters (ADO) while living in Oklahoma, where the company remains proudly headquartered today in Norman.

Throughout his distinguished career, Steve has earned numerous awards for performance, leadership, and service excellence. He accomplished all this while raising three children as a single father—an achievement that reflects his strong family values and unwavering commitment to personal and professional success.

Drawing from his extensive industry network and expertise, Steve has personally connected hundreds of stellar candidates with top employers across the diesel and heavy equipment sectors—proving his commitment to strengthening the workforce and creating opportunities for professionals nationwide.

Today, Steve continues to lead with passion and purpose, while embracing the Florida lifestyle and all that it has to offer outside of his professional pursuits.
